I suffer from PIH, you need to allow the skin to heal for 1-2 skin cycles after which it'll go back to normal. Wash your face gently and use a very gentle lightner like Alpha Arbutin. I'm also using HQ 4% but it works for me and I got it in prescription. You can try it but can't guarantee the same results.

I've never used ikb so can't recommend. A skin cycle is how long it takes for new skin cells to form around your body. Usually it takes 3-6 weeks depending on your age. Your PIH right now is on your current skin so you want to be gentle and treat it so in the next cycles the skin becomes lighter and the PIH fades. It's an inflammatory response, so if you're continually harsh with the skin the new layers which can be more sensitive will also develop PIH
