Vitamin C serum leaves a white cast like feeling

My DIY Vitamin C serum leaves me a cast like feeling when it dries up on my skin.. Does this mean that it is not properly formulated.. My LAA didn't dissolve or something?

What recipe are you using? Did you follow the instructions? Make substitutions or leave anything out?

I used the CE Ferulic acid serum. To my knowledge I haven't missed out anything / made substitutions

Well there are a ton of C serum recipes on this site. If it's feeling dry and gritty on your skin it makes me think it may not be emulsified properly. It could be separating in the bottle so be sure to shake it before each use - sounds like you could be getting the C + water part and not any of the oils. I could be totally wrong though without knowing what recipe you were referencing.
