Mitchell Brands products are very popular so I'm sure they would be great I'm about to start using a product from them starting tomorrow. Did you have a goal in mind as far as lightening or just wanted to get rid of discoloration etc.?

How do you know what has hydroquinone or not? I see carotis lotion (original) contains arbutus and lactic acid...what do you all recommend for the face?

For the face use something that is gel based gels are better for the face. As far as MB products goes when you see "lightening" in the title it contains 1.9% HQ if it says "brightening" in the title it contains AA/LA etc.

@SentFromHeaven , read the ingredient listing, HQ is also known asbenzene-1,4-diol or quinol. Most times it will say hydroquinone, but some products will get tricky so just be sure to read read read, and if you are unsure, just ask!!

You are absolutely CORRECT I was reading up on that instead of seeing HQ listed it would be replaced with another word which can confuse people.
