What are the current successful sunscreens

Well since the summer is upon us, everyone probably has some serious sun protection going on. What r the current favs in terms of preventing any skin pigmentation?
The current one I use (elta md) prevents color to some extent but not 100%
Has anyone got any suggestions? And I was thinking of buying sofina lemme know if anyone has experience with it

I use SolbarZinc Borad Spectrum SPF 38. I have been for some years. It does a fine job in prevention but I do live in Europe. I don't have permatan like I used to back then.
I want to try something new though, so will also look out for suggestions from here.
