Its very easy to use. If you purchase lactic acid all you would need is distilled water to make a mild LA peel. Apply that would definitely speed up your exfoliating process.

As for ready made LA lotions, Amlactin is what most use, depending on where you live and whats available, but there are others out there you can look for as well. I'll link a few for you. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ammonium-...&wl13=&veh=sem

If you used Gold Bond this doesn't have lactic in it, but it makes a great base lotion to mix LA into it if you wanted too. If you went that route and you wanted to make your own, I would totally help you with that. All you would need is to get the Gold Bond and then find some lactic acid. Once you have that, tell me the amount of Gold Bond you have, the % of the Lactic Acid you have, and then what % you want your final lotion to be. Amlactin and the others are 12% which is a great place to start. IF you can tolerate it well, then consider moving up to 15%.

I hope I am making some sort of sense to you, if not, please ask, I don't mind helping at all. The more the questions the more you learn @usigx
Wow! Such an informative reply, thankyou! Is it more effective to use kojic acid in combination with LA peel? How much better is LA peel than kojic acid for exfoliation? I'm not sure whether the kojie san soap that sells on amazon/ebay are authentic so by using LA peel I will atleast be in peace. What % LA peel to get for face and body (exfoliation) and how much and how to apply it on the face (with sponge?)

For applying cream, can LA lotion replace a serum for boosting results? Like I'm not sure which product to get between the two, and if I do end up getting the lotion I'll get the ready made one first as for starters and then maybe later make my own (yes I understand the % and amount concept).

Lactic acid is great for working on hyperpigmentation issues. It penetrates the epidermis only, is a great peel for beginners and those who don't want to have any down time. Are you wanting to use a ready made peel or make your own? Either way, you are totally safe to start with 40% for your face/body. @usigx

    How to apply-
cleanse, then wipe your face with a toner, or even witch hazel, just something to be sure all the oil, etc is removed. Apply the peel with a brush, a cheap fan brush works great, it helps to see where the peel has been applied, plus you won't waste the solution this way, a little goes a long way. Once applied, leave on for 3-5 mins, rinse with soap and water. You can apply LA peel weekly, each week increase the time by a min or 2, you just never want to leave on longer than 10 mins. Granted your body will be able to tolerate a much stronger % than your face, but I would start at 40%.

LA will boost your entire exfoliating process, puts Kojic soap to shame. But yes you are totally fine using Kojic soap in combination with LA peel and lotion. LA lotion would replace a moisturizer, whether it be a serum or lotion, its purpose it to exfoliate and moisturize at the same time. If you are going to use LA lotion, use it in the PM, you just don't want to use it with other acids or with RA. If you use other acids or RA, just alternate the nights you use them.

Hope this helps, and answers your questions, if not just ask glad to help

Is 10% Lactic acid concentration too high to leave on skin of the face like a toner?

Gold Bond makes a nice LA lotion. As for lactic acid, I would
purchase from Lotioncrafters or Bulkactives. I will give you links below. @angie7879

Yep, 8% is great to use for your face. You are only going to add a small amount, 0.2 ounces so roughly 5 teaspoons of LA is all you will need. Mix it up well and you are good to go let me know if you need anything else @Doricita
