Do you guys still use DMSO ie. Dimethyl sulfoxide and DMI i.e. Dimethyl Isosorbide to help with your skin lightening products? They are "absorption enhancers" that help skin care go deeper than the upper layer of skin. DMSO goes bloodstream deep while DMI goes skin deep. I'm asking because most of the post talking about them are from years ago and I'm curious if anybody still uses it and what your results are after using them.
@lightboy localized, short-term topical application seems to be okay, but it wouldn't apply to us because we are in it long term across a large surface area.
hmm very interesting thread for the DIY-minded. haven't used it personally, but definately got my attention. @yemeve What kind of mixture do you incorporate it into ? Also what if it really enters the bloodstream. I'm just curious because that sounds a little unsettling to me.
@lightboy, I use this in microneedling with dermapen to enhance absorption of serums as hyaluronic acid and other meso mixes. All precautions observed after procedure. Also use for achy joints after workout before joint relief creams. But that’s a different topic, Ain’t it?
