Haha you guys are funny. Just got back from vacation and saw this the truth is I had heard bad things about bioclaire and gg that is why I tried Tonique and it has made a really drastic difference in my skin..not sure how I could stop now
Still going strong with the Tonique. I did try something else for about a month and got darker and started breakout out . Ran back to Tonique fast and started using the semi gel creme and and I am now to flawlessness
I find that the kojic acid soap from them is not like the ones I've used in the past. I am using it with the lip lightening and it may be a bit drying on my lips but I like it for my body. Anyone else?
i feel like its a good exfoliator, it exfoliates without irritation, it also helps get on the pale whitish side along with Arbutin tho - i do think its still kinda expensive for what it is , as i needed to use arbutin with it to see results ! the arbutin makes me yellow and sepiwhite tones the yellow down , it gives a more palish tone - i used it for more than a month , but cant use it everyday anymore cause im sick of flaking , and my face is sensitive so i dont want to over exfoliate - so i guess when im ready to exfoliate my face again i will use it ( i used the 10x cream and the 20x gel not at the same time )
@flawlessBright: Also how many shades did you go up by? I don't like or want the pale/white look. It looks too ghostly. I prefer yellow(not high) but medium...like 1.5/2 shades darker than Megan Goode. If I were to consider purchasing from tonique, which products would you recommend?
like i said , its expensive for what it is , it exfoliated me more than lightened - but its a "pale" lightener like kojic acid - i left from NC 50 to NC 44 but not only because of tonique , i used hydroquinone ( kligmans formula) , then arbutin, then kojic acid and then tonique ( sepiwhite) with arbutin .
@flawlessBright: ikb gel and serum. Doesn't need work anymore on my ears nor face nor back of neck. I need something stronger than won't make me revert back or make me darker than original color.
I can't believe it only exfoliated you more than lightened you. And for that exorbitant amount of money. Can I ask what was your starting shade @flawlessBright? @Meflawlesslikebey: what do you use? What would you recommend for someone who wants to go up 3 shades?
