Hi there. I'm quite a bit over 40 and still get the occasional zit once in awhile. But I think if you are experiencing frequent breakouts, then you should see a doctor. There is also a chance it could be your makeup or skin care products. What do you use?

So many factors can lead to acne. Diet and stress are the two biggies in my opinion. Here are some other things to take into consideration:
What skin care line are you using? Are your makeup brushes clean? Are you "overcleaning" your face (washing more than 2x/day) or using water that's too hot?

I am 39 and still get breakouts and blackheads and it is frustrating to say the least. What has been working pretty well for me is a new product epizyn that a friend recommended. It seems to clear up my face and not dry it out at all. I guess it is supposed to have a lot of other uses for the skin too. The website is just epizyn.com. Let me know how it works for your breakouts

My cousin hooked me on this face wash at ezrioni. It is suppose to be for men, it is listed under their men's products, but I LOVE it! It is called Tea Tree & Honey Face Wash for Problem Skin. I don't break-put anymore, and I wear quite a bit of make-up. I highly recommend it.

hi! my mom is already 50 and she still have those occasional zits. i think it's because of too much stress. and she doesn't even put on make-up. best suggestion is to consult a dermatologist before it gets too big and before it affects your skin's texture.
