hi has anyone tried taking ACAI 3 ‘REVERSEâ€2122 capsules? the results on the site seem pretty stunning but would like 'real' peoples views who dont want to sell me anything! Its pretty expensive for one months worth- over £30, but if it works I s'pose its money well spent? lx

Acai is being used in some cosmetics. This doesn't apply to the capsules but a friend "joined a club" which made her eligible to sell acai juice and sign up other members -- like a pyrimid scheme. She gave me literature on the product which sounded like a wonder drug -- but I didn't see any difference in her appearance or her health after she was drinking the stuff for several months. So I would proceed with caution.

the main ingredients in Borba cosmetics is Acai..............It claims to be very good for the skin
I have been using Borba for 3 weeks (daytime); the acai is about mid-way down on the ingredient list . From what I've read about acai is that it is very high in Vit C. I found the Hd-Illuminating light effects serum quite effective in minimizing pores and helps to even the skin tone. I'd buy it again.

Mari: I guess it needs to be the 1st 3 ingredients to be effective right?
The higher the better; but at least in the first 6; I can understand that some of these products are expensive but if they're advertising a product containing the active igredient as being whatever, yes, I agree with you.

That's a great idea, NY to make your own smoothie. I don't like eating many fruits... maybe I'll start making smoothies and can lose a bit o weight in this way too!!

Can u share any recipe??
Thanks.

I make a really great smoothie that I drink almost daily.
First I start with chocolate almond milk. Then add a scoop and a half of whey protein.
Then I add either mixed berries or better yet just blackberries. No need for ice in the blender as the frozen berries do the trick. YUMMY

Awww... thanks Peri. This does sound yummy!

I don't have a smoothie maker. Is it ok if I use a blender in the meantime?
Cheers.
