Hey all, my first time posting on these forums.

Iâ€2122ve had an issue with pimples on my neck where it started out as razor burn and has developed into pimples over the years.

Iâ€2122ve been to 2 doctors about the issue and have tried about 4 types of oral antibiotics and 8 different creams which were prescribed by them. But have been told i will grow out if it. its been there since i was 16 (I currently am 20) and Iâ€2122ve tried different razors, shaving creams/gels/oils, cleansing my skin before and after with antibiotics, alcohols and cleansing lotions. Iâ€2122ve tried not shaving for 6 months which didnâ€2122t make a difference.

So im not really sure what to do next.

Any Suggestions?

And heres a picture of my neck.

/me awaits screams of terror.

Hi Randy, after seeing your photo and hearing about the 12 different treatments you have tried, I am stumped about what your skin condition could be. Although I do have two suggestions for you. Firstly, you must disinfect your razor after every shave to kill any bacteria that there may be on the razor. This will prevent the recontamination of the skin's surface and will prevent the spreading of the skin condition. My second suggestion is to visit a dermatologist who specialises in skin infections as your condition is very stubborn and requires very specialised treatment.
