Not many details here :)

...but, rose hip oil have a good reputation when it comes to scars, even older ones. Chemical peels can also help with small scars, but deeper ones might not be something that at-home-products can do any thing about. The really strong stuff like lasers works most efficient on deeper scars, it is more expensive and most severe treatments, but really good results can be obtained.

If she is more worried about future scarring a treatment that solves her acne problem is the best thing.

I would recommend the Rose Hip oil and MSM powder. Buy 100% MSM bulk from your local FEED STORE ( WAY CHEAPER ) and add it to any natural lotion or even the Rose Hip Oil and soak your scares. Veterinarians have been using MSM for many years on animals. Way before humans started taking it.

While your at it, you can add a few tsp. of MSM into a glass of Orange Juice. Biotin and vitamin C help the body assimilate MSM. Biotin and vitamin C are found in fresh fruits. Eating fresh fruits while taking MSM could be helpful.

Try applying lemon juice to problem areas. Leave this on for 15mins and then wash off. It helps in fading acne scars and spots. make sure u use a good sunblock though as lemon juice makes skin sensitive to the sun.

I didn't know rose hip oil was good for fading scars. Can I apply directly on the skin or should I mix with a carrier oil?

Pls advise
Thanks.

There is a misconception that oil is not suitable for oily skin, yet Rosehip oil works well on this skin type, because of the fatty acids, high vitamin A, and a PH similar to our own sebum. It does not add to the oiliness of your skin, rather the oil absorbs quickly and allows the skin to breathe.

If you suffer from acne, donâ€2122t use the oil if you are having a breakout. It is very good to use after the breakout is over to help heal the skin. Rosehip oil can be found in natural moisturizers and other skin care products, or use the oil on its own.

Rosehips oil has been used by South Americans for generations to treat dry skin, help reduce signs of premature ageing and fade off blemishes such as pigmentation spots, acne scars and sun spots.

SUNCREEN EVERY DAY. So important when trying to fade out those slow fading, nasty marks. I have recently started using Mario Badescu Whitening mask and I love it. i also use Dr gross Beta Hydroxy pads. The combination ofthe 2 products have made a nice change in my skin and I dont have to spend 20 minutes putting concealer on in the morning. I wont say they are gone 100% but def. better. I just hope when summer comes and I start my jogging again that they wont all come back. I hate when the sunscreen drips in my eyes but it's so necessary.
