If you don't have a prescription then they want to charge you a Care Cost of $10 dollars for each products that requires a prescription. Isn't that insane?

Yes, that's the same. I'm talking about products that require a prescription like Lugiman and others. They'll call, after orders are placed, asking if you have a prescription and if you don't then they'll want to charge a Care Cost of $10 dollars "each". Care Cost eliminates the prescription requirement.

Sounds like they are trying to limit the "bulk" orders to ensure supply and demand

But Careprost (the generic of Lumigan) doesn't require a prescription, does it?

how are they shady when half the members of the whole forum are ordering in bulks year round? I dont know if you read the news but India's economy as a whole country is going up and theres more productivity there than most other countries around the world that have been affected by the recession, many people are even thinking of moving there so I hear. The prices are remaining LOW.

Lumigan isn't the only item that requires a prescription but most items don't require one so that's good.

if they start charging more I will stop buying from them. They are using the wrong business model, they should not charge more as customers increase, silly way to fall back to the bottom

There are other indian pharmacies and canadian pharmacies

Lajdnie, is right it doesn't effect HQ or RA. Those don't require prescription only some of the others.

Please note that some patents are stringently regulated and enforced by the USDA. Many online and international pharmacies do not want to take the risk of violating these regulations.

For prescription items that are highly monitored e.g., Lumigan, (and, as another example, the generic equivalent to the drug that promotes and sustains male erections, Viagra? is it?) perhaps they are doing us a favor by offering a prescripition fee of $10.00; as opposed to our having to go to our Primary Care Provider (PCP) for a prescription. In doing so, we would incur a cost (I assure you) far greater thatn 10 bucks.

Read up. Avoid the mandated "prescriptions," which are actually quite rare, in occurence, as I navigate the ADC website. But above all, "READ UP" to avoid the misconception, pandemoniom, and uncertainty, regarding a company that in actuality has been very, very good to the majority of us....

The short of it: Order the Careprost (same generic equivalent). as recommended for $10.00.

No need for alarm.

Indeed, I was alarmed and some how missed that good read on their "Careprost". I could hardly understand the woman on the phone. She had an accent which I could get pass but she was talking in an accelerated pace is where I thought she said "Care Cost". Also, I left a message on ADC and got a email response from another site which I found out to be a partner site of ADC; awkward but okay. I didn't mind so much the "Careprost" and willing to pay it but didn't think it's necessary to charge "Careprost" for each in quantities. That's what I meant my insane.

O.K. So, now I am confused! Is there actually a $10 fee called Care Cost or are you referring to the $10 for the product called "Careprost"? Please clarify.
