Basic Antiperspirant Deodorant Powder
1/2 cup baking soda​
1/2 cup cornstarch​
a few drops od essential oils such as lavender or cinnamon​
Place the ingredients in a glass jar, shaking well to blend. Sprinkle a light covering of the powder on a damp washcloth. Pat on. Don't rinse.​
Basic Liquid Antiperspirant Deodorant
1/4 cup witch hazel extract​
1/4 cup aloe vera gel​
1/4 mineral water​
1 tsp vegetable glycerin​
a few drops of antibacterial essential oils such as lavender (optional)​
Combine the ingredients in a spray bottle. Shake to blend. Makes 3/4 cup total. The shelf life is indefinite.​

Be aware that much baking soda will rub, especially when you start to sweat and will cause a burning rash under your arm as will cinnamon. A teaspoon of baking soda to a cup of cornstarch will work as well without the burn. Add a couple of drops of rosemary or tea tree oil to eliminate odor causing bacteria.
