Anyone knows solutions to acne problems?

I have been suffering from acne problems and sometimes they really get worse. I have tried many of the anti-acne products available but I am not satisfied with them as I feel that the results they give are just a matter of time. Can anyone suggest me a good remedy for this?

I had terrible acne as a teenager and young adult. I tried everything and finally went through treatment with Accutane. It knocked it. There were some pretty serious side effects that had to be closely monitored by my doc; but everything was fine and it worked... It would be my last resort.
I battled acne WAY too long, I did Accutane too, and yep, it was my last resort!! And one I wish I had done sooner. It has cured me-

I am also a fan of the Mario Badescu lotion, but its really expensive. I actually found the company that manufactures it for them. They are called Professional Solutions (just google them). They call it Blemex though, but it's the same exact stuff. If you buy it directly from them it's way cheaper!
Mario badescu products are manufactured BY mario badescu, not another company. That is FACT. Where did you get this incorrect information? Just curious. $17 is a lot cheaper than many of the products on the market but its all relative. It does work though. I am going to look up the other stuff.

You are confusing the blemex with Mario Badescu's Drying lotion, not their Buffering lotion. MB is the original creator of this type of product and it has been copied by so many skin care companies all over the world. Same ingredients.
Fawnie you said that right!! Good skin now/bad skin later. That is exactly what BP does. It causes more damage than what it is worth.
This statement is arguable! Only people who suffered from acne experienced its damaging effect on all aspects of life...social, emotional, physical. So finding a cure for acne means starting a new life, coming out of your shell and feeling beautiful.
I've tried everything that was out there in the market before I started using benzoyl peroxide as my treatment, and with every method that failed, I can tell you the hope inside of me was dying. I felt like I was cursed for some reason.
When my face started to clear up, I honestly felt like the happiest person to be alive.
That being said, I do agree that BP can be severe, especially if you use a thick layer morning and evening - it going to feel like your face is on fire. But once your face starts to clear up, gradually you can reduce the "dosage" of BP application. Right now I only use it once a day (in the evening) a very thin layer. And of course I protect and nurture my skin in various ways and always use sunblock moisturizer in the morning.

BP is a treatment, and like with all treatments a person must be careful. I think there's no need to mention precautions that go with using Accutane for example

ANY acne fighting regimen needs thorough monitoring.

The problem with using BP is well..........wait until you stop. It may keep your acne at bay while using it, but unfortunately you have to continue using it. You chances of stopping with BP and being clear of acne are slim to none. I am sorry, but it is true. Plus the damage you are doing to your skin while using BP, in long term effects, isn't something I would want to continue with.

Using Accutane is short term. Most people take it for 6 months and are done with it. Some have to take it for another course, but majority of people, one course is enough to kill the acne and you never have a major issue with it again. I haven't had one single break out since being off of Accutane-almost one year of being acne free-
