By now you should know that a quality, photo-stable sunscreen with a high SPF/PPD level is your #1 anti-aging skin care product period!!!! Preferably one with mexoryl or tinsorb as the active ingredient.
Most everyone does not apply enough sunscreen to achieve the desired SPF/PPD rating on the bottle. Just today, I took a 1/4 teaspoon and measured out this amount of my sunscreen. It was more than enough to cover my face and neck. I've been using even less than this before the test. In order to achieve the rating on the bottle, you need to be using about 1/2 teaspoon total for your face and neck.

I might look like a ghost using 1/2 teapoon.
I'm gonna keep experimenting and see if I can get it up that high. The cornstarch idea sounds interesting.
If your like most people who apply less than 1/4 teapoon for your face and neck, it makes great sense to help make-up for some of this inadequate protection by using things such as oral anti-oxidants, vitamin C serum, tomato paste, lutein, kale.
And of course let's not forget good ole retin-a (tretinoin)
It will help your skin repair the damage from the daylight that the sunscreen + topical antioxidant let through.
More great info:
