I just received my Baby Quasar. I hope that it works and I won't be disappointed. I would love to hear from anyone else who has used one.

Baby Quasar is a handheld device that emits blue and red light. It's supposed to be an alternative (and an effective one at that) for blue light therapy for acne and other skin ailments.

There's more information here Quasar Light Therapy

Thanks for enlightening me as usual Freddy

Actually the Baby Quasar only emits red light. It is a "hand held device" with both visible and infared LED lights that are safe enough to put up right to your face.It is used to increase blood circulation, therefore building collagen and hyaluronen. This runs about $300 to $400. The "Baby Blue" is the blue acne light. The blue lights are researched to kill the bacteria found in acne vulgaris. The Baby Blue Is generally about $100 less than The Baby Quasar. It seemed like the better deal at first but it is marketed that the two wands are meant to work together.
I got the Baby Quasar Power Pack (both wands) for $699 at VitaSprings. But I have recently seen the package for $599 (can't rem which site). Most sites list it for $749 -799.
I am seeing the most visible difference with the red wand (Baby Quasar). My skin's texture and tone has visibly improved after 4 treatments. My skin's elasticity has greatly improved as well - my pores are smaller and skin tighter. Actually, I tripped upon this site while researching the Baby Quasar surprised to find little information from customers. But I'm VERY happy with my investment.

I am reporting out about Baby Q again.

I had my doubts on monday because my skin was looking haggard. I had huge circles under my eyes, my skin was blotchy, and i couldn't stand to look at myself in the mirror...I thought is this like most other products or gimmicks? It seems to work for the first week and then decides to stop?

But low and behold I had actually been fighting a stomach flu that was going around (I'm a first grade teacher)... but I never got it full on. I rested Tuesday night and yesterday and did a treatment last night.

My skin looks even again, rosy in the cheeks, and I do continue to see a difference in my skin as it gets tighter around the eyes and mouth. I have not had one new pimple for two weeks.

Eclipse - i await your report
I am not getting many responses about This system but it does look like people are viewing it so I am going to keep going...

I have talked about the positive changes in my skin but I want to be perfectly honest about three disadvantages so people are not disillusioned (I'll make sure there are 3)

1. The pics on line look like it is cordless. It is not. I do not have an extension cord at this time so I have to sit right next to the plug to use it (okay...not such a big deal)

2. The Baby Quasar treatment takes 28 minutes. The Baby Blue takes 15 min or more. So this can be time consuming, especially if you have children or an extremely busy schedule. I only have a cat and I usually have my down time from 8:00 to 10:00. I find my treatments relaxing but they do take time. LOL, I think my cat is still trying to figure out what I am doing all of a sudden. she just stares at me.

3. The Baby Quasar is pretty expensive - even as far as personal light therapy devices go. I researched and purchased the system that I felt I could have the most confidence in but it was a pretty penny (see above). I still feel some guilt about putting so much on my credit card for myself right before the holidays but I don't regret it. I also haven't mentioned this to anyone but you guys lol. It'll be our little secret.

The important question is, does it work as promised? What changes have you seen thus far?
yes, so far yes
.. it does increase blood circulation...so the skin has a flush appearance and it seems to glow. My skin looks tighter and this is the one thing that has made my pores look smaller.

The skin around my eyes and mouth is tighter. The eye area is less puffy.

I have some enlarged pores on my right cheek bone. The lower cheek pores have gotten smaller and now I see a difference on the apple of my cheek too.

From what I have read, though, the effects do not last more than three months. But that shouldn't matter if you have your own personal device.

There are no visible side effects, no down time, so I feel that my skin is just looking better and better without getting worse first like with peels or microdermabrasion (which actually never worked for me)

The biggest news... no blemishes for 2 1/2 weeks. NONE! Knock on wood.
I'm down with that, how much did you pay and where did you get it? I'm going to buy it.
look up above...I think it's the third or fourth post.
I just did a search on Amazon.com and found it for $449 (US). Now I'm thinking about it too.
Was it the Power Pack...or just the Baby Quasar?

Remember that the Baby Quasar doesn't have the Blue Acne Light...

Make sure it says Baby Quasar Power Pack if you want both wands
You are correct. Thanks for the clarification. It's just for the BQ Red - which is what I'm looking for as an anti-aging device - and does not include the anti-acne one (Blue). The fight for me now is against lines, wrinkles, and loss of firmness - and not acne breakouts.
But you can find it for less than $499
keep looking. Try skinstore.com and Vitasprings.com. Vitasprings also gave me free shipping.
