Hey there, these posts are quite old so not sure if you girls are still around. I know excatly what you mean by this problem, I look stunning in photographs taken with a flash at night, my sjkin looks absolutely flawless even compared to friends who have not got a single blemish. I have really bad acne scarring, and I always dread the lights getting turned on in a club after the party is over, and I dread going on a second date with a person who only saw me at night the first time. There is not much I can do about it but just hope that I meet someone who likes me for what I am , and who meets me in the broad daylight for the first time! I think its a good idea to care for skin within , so that you have to wear less makeup, makeup itself can be a big contributor to skin looking bad in daylight, good skincare and less makeup will look better.
I also totally agree about mirrors, some shops i walk into i feel i look great , then i may go into a cheaper store for example TK XXXX and oh my gosh their mirrors are sooooo bad. It actually puts me off buying anything there cos the mirrors are so unflatterring I just wanna get outta there.

I know its really hard to be conscious about feeling ugly in daylight, try to concentrate on looking after and improving your overall skin condition , what i find is that if the majority of the skin / face is healthy and glowing, it makes the bad areas less obvious. You will find that the bad areas are smaller than you think once the rest of the face is healthy.
