I'm 25 years old and have had acne problems since I was 14. I've tried everything from benzoyl peroxide, pro-active, and different products prescribed by different dermatologists but nothing has worked on me. I have ENORMOUS pores on my cheeks and nose, I get cystic acne so often I have lots of scars from them.

I was doing some research and came across Diacneal. Does anyone know if this product is any good? or know of any other better products? I'm desperate and tired of throwing my money away visiting different doctors and getting no results.

i'd suggest Dr.Brandt, ever since i started using his poreless collection,i have not had a cystic breakout in MONTHS!!! i'd suggest the Poreless Cleanser&Toner, Poreless Gel,Purifying Mask,Poreless Moisture,do not use Pore Effect if you are oily,if you are oily/combination it would be ok to use but it wont cause much effect, only use pore effect if you are really dry! like i said in the other thread, also use Murad Acne Spot Treatment with Sulfur and also i'd suggest getting a Benzoyl Peroxide Cream with atleast 5% Benzoyl Peroxide that also includes Tea Tree Oil, a good product for that would be DDF Benzoyl Peroxide With Tea Tree Oil(GREAT for oily skin),also try an AHA/BHA cleanser as welll dermaDOCTOR AHA/BHA cleanser is good and it's only $24! all the products can be found at Sephora

There are a lot of products out there and I tried them all. Finally after spending $1,000's my derm put me on Accutane, that was all that worked for me.
Even though this is a VERY OLD post Wendy-
I was on Accutane as well, and it was the only thing that worked for me too-

I suggest you (with all due respect) stop trying to treat yourself and see a dermatologist. That is their specialty and a good one will help you enormously. I did a 5 month course of accutane 8 years ago and have not had a breakout since. Granted, I had some scarring and still do. I had a total of 4 Fraxel laser treatments to the tune of $1,000 a piece, and it helped. Please do not spend any more money on any products until you see a derm. Hope this helps.
