Has anyone ever tried Bio-Oil for their scars or stretch marks? I heard that it works well for such problems.

I've heard Bio Oil is good too for treating scars, stretch marks, aging skin , ... but I don't know if it really works. pls we would appreciate some feedback on this product

I've also heard good things about Bio-Oil, haven't used it myself though so I can't attest to its quality.

My mum had a breast reduction a few years ago and the scars were just horrendous. She looked like frankensteins bride! Anyway she started using bio oil a while back and she swears by it, the scars are alot less noticeable... they are flatter and smoother and she attributes it to bio oil, if i ever have anything go wrong she tells me to put bio oil on it!

i started using bio oil about 2 months ago for a big scar on my arm i had as a baby from boiling hot water....now 22 and its obviously bigger and ive been paranoid, always hiding it even in the summer and it has always depressed me.
sometimes it looks like the oil is working but sometimes it does not if that makes any sense. i put it on 2-3 times a day but i dont think it will work very quickly and i'm not expecting it too, its a pretty big scar, will keep you guys updated.

How about trying castor oil on your scar instead? I heard that castor oil is good in fading scars. Maybe it might help

You should post some pictures of the area so that we can see the progress.

I used Bio Oil after my daughter was born. I only used it for about 2 months and only on the weekends because that was the only time I could. I got lazy and stopped using it... I used it on my stomach, thighs, and breasts. I saw a lot of improvement on my belly. Those stretch marks were fairly new from pregnancy. But the marks on my breasts and thighs were old and they lightened up a little but not much. Maybe when I start using it again I'll see improvement.
