I'm always interested in testing out the latest oil based roll on scents because I find them to have a longer lasting effect and the scent is more potent than a spray. With my chemistry I seem to absorb most scents or change the true smell of it. After about an hour it's as if I have sprayed or applied nothing at all. That's why I turned to using oil-based fragrances.
I found out about Bissy's Boutique and made a straight beeline for the site: Skin Care Talk
There was a great special going on, if you sign up for the newsletter you're alerted of all the great specials going on, so that's how I was able to try them for only $2.75 per bottle.
I ordered the Italian Ice it is described as: The freshest, lip puckering Lemon scent I have ever smelled. It even smells "frozen".
I also ordered the Vanilla Spice described as: A Blend of Cinnamon, Clove, Vanilla, Musk, and Rum.
I was also given as complimentary samples Candy Fluff described as: a perfect blend of sweet cotton candy and toasted marshmallow.
And Vanilla Pear described as: Vanilla cake batter topped with juicy, sun-ripened pears.
In my honest opinion I am glad that I only paid $2.75 for them they are regularly priced at $4.50. They are very sweet scents and I of course LOVE anything that smells "yummy" and "edible". I felt that although it is an oil-based product, the scent did not last very long. The scent also seemed to change on me almost immediately after it began to dry down.
The descriptions are far different than what the scent really comes out smelling like. I did not get the whole "lip puckering lemon" or the "it even smells frozen" from the Italian Ice. The Vanilla Spice smelled more like a pumpkin spice, which was a bit of a disappointment because of the description that was given. I was looking for something less sweet, a bit deeper and sexier.
I carry all 4 scents in my duffel bag and whenever I need a little scent of some kind I use one of them. I got a very friendly impression from the company owner and she is good about answering questions. These are fun fragrances that young girls as well as the big girls (me) can wear all in fun J
So if what you're looking for is an inexpensive way to carry a few different scents around in your purse, gym bag, travel bag then this is a great way to do it. There are also scents offered that mimic brand name scents like Victoria's Secret and other department store brands. What I do like about them is the price and because of that I probably will purchase more.
Take a look at the site and see if any of the other products offered might be just the ticket you're looking for. Currently there are October specials going on. Happy Scenting!!
