Body Shop Henna Powder

My sister has been suffering from premature greying. As, she is allergic to all the chemical hair dyes , she started using body shop henna to colour her hair without any problem. The henna not only condition her hair but add shine and a lovely color too. Recently, I found out that body shop has discontinued the henna powder. Does anybody know the reason for this?

Can anyone recommend another product she can use to replace the henna?
She can't use any chemical hair dyes as she gets rashes with them.

I have used Henna in the past year and I purchased mine through a natural foods store. You can find henna on the internet for sure!! Good Luck

Hi Gavelgirl,

Does henna add colour to hair? I have tried it once but it makes my white hair orangy

would you recommend a good brand that makes white hair red?

Hi Mushi,

I found out that body shop discontinued their henna hair dye as there was some problem with its ingredients which were harmful to people. I saw this on the net. you can seach on google or any search engine to learn more about this. I am sure you will get more information. Some hair salons offer henna application if your sister is interested in getting her hair professionally done.

I am sorry but I can not recommend a henna that will turn white hair red because my hair is brown and I just wanted to add red. The brand I used is Light Mountain. They have a color chart on the website. I hope this helps!
