Hey I just bought an at home brazilian waxing kit from sally beauty supply and i want to know if anyone knows any tips!! How many days do I let my hair grow before I wax? (it doesnt specify on the container) Also, its tyhe kind that you dont have to use waxing strips, you just let the wax cool and then rip it off. If you have any tips let me know!! I also am going to use it on my underarms (as it is for that too) how long do i let that grow??? Ive been going for about 2 days now and im just sticking to long sleeves lol.

For the underarms I always let mine grow about a week or so. Of course this is much easier to do in the Winter-

but the longer you wait the better result you will get. I also always wipe with an alcohol strip then put baby powder on, then wax. I do this with my legs as well.

It should be at least 1/4 inch. Here's a link if you are set on doing it yourself, but I think it would be a big mistake! Be sure to have someone handy to help you if in case of.....problems....

No my skin is still intact, but it still hurts a lil. Im definitly going to a professional next time, i shouldve listened to you fawnie!! I did do all of my bikini area in between yelps, im sure my neighbors though i was being murdered but its nice and smooth but it was definitly the worst pain in my life! Im satisfied with my underarms though. very smooth and the pain was not that bad!
