Hi everyone,

Just had one session of IPL done on my face two weeks ago, the result is amazing.
I got a few acne scars on my temple and cheek from i was young, i'm late 20's and am determined to get rid of them.

IPL did tighten my skin, get rid of discolouration, sun spots, decreased wrinkles, pigmentation, and the whole face looked and feel ten years younger based on just only one treatment.

But does anybody knows that can IPL really get rid of old acne scars????

IPL does help with scar remodification, but you need to get the setting right.
For severe acne scarring, try Fraxel

I am actually in the same situation, I have a darker raised really old acne scar and I was wondering if the IPL can help remove it? just had my first session with some redness, swollenness, and slight blisters hopefully that is as bad as it gets.

IPL shouldn't give you any swollenness, and slight blisters. Everytime when I have IPL, i only have slight redness and very dry skin. freckles normally gone darker then fell off after a few days.
IPL did made my old scars smaller in size but not completely getting rid of them. IPL won't get rid of scars. Laser can do that but I'm not brave enough to go for laser yet. If you have blisters, I'm thinking you probably got a bit burn, you shouldn't do another session until after 1 or 2 months. or change your clinlic. I don't think they're doing it right on you.
