Maybe its just lightening and cameras but I find it too much of a coincidence that all celes look lighter compared to their pre fame days or when they were rising
It seems like the more popular and famous they get the lighter their skin gets also

But asian doll skin looks amazing and natural

I wonder how long it takes to get those results with iv alone

I agree with you. I’ve been looking at her Instagram for a while now and I feel like with each picture she takes she gets lighter and lighter. It definitely looks really natural though. It looks good on her.

Its weird that no one gets called out for it though. Only Lil Kim does when it’s so obvious she’s not the only one. Lil Kim walked so everyone else could run.

I think it's sort of an open secret among hollywood

also the general public it's in denial sometimes I visit forums to see people reaction and opinion
and I notice when the skin looks amazing and natural people makes excuses for it like they absolutely refuse to accept they did something to their skin, and come with all sorts of excuses
"people get lighter as they age"
"she used to be under the sun a lot
"it's a tan"
"she is in a different lighting "

since it's sort of taboo in our community people in general don't want to admit celebs do it

with gabrielle Union it's funny because people still call her dark skinned because they are still thinking about the skin she had before but still they don't connect the dots and accuse her of bleaching
even she calls herself dark skinned, she forgot she isn't anymore
I hear a lot of heated debates about her skin tone as in is she dark skinned or not
"she is dark skinned, she even wrote a whole book about it and she referes to herself as such"

i know she got accused of bleaching recently but it was because she looked like a mess before that people didn't talk

I have a theory simular to yours
I think she has been bleaching for decades now, and she prob was a bit careless with her regime for some time and ended up redarkening a lot , she freaked out and instead of taking long and steady or doing what she did all these years, she went for the quick fix and that was the result

she looks even more obvious since she did a terrible job
she prob didn't even exfoliate and went straight into the creams she has all the tell signs of a bleacher

I'm always baffled when celebs look like a mess, they have all the resources and money in the world plus they depend on their image
so many users here do a flawless job even without much money or time

This. She has the most obvious of darkening. I looked through Google images it's like the last 2 years she got dramatically lighter .
I think Megan and KMichelle are the most definite bleachers

also I looked at the interview and her excuse seems like bullshit

@brownies19 OMG yes!! Meagan’s excuse was completely bullshit 😂. I’m glad that people aren’t focusing on her skin anymore though. I feel like she got a lot of flack for it

yeah I'm so absolutely tired and exhausted of people making a big deal out of skin lightening
it just sounds so hypocrite on one hand one can have a whole head transplant with plastic surgery, mutilate their bodies into their desired shapes, even risking death , but skin bleaching is where you want to draw the line?


I think that's on of the reasons the whole thing isn't more advanced , its still such a taboo it's prob quiet undeveloped at least for us commoners celebs prob know their shit for the most part

They came from a popular reality tv show bad girls club
It was basically one of those shows full of problematic people with anger issues that are always figthing and getting in trouble
Very ratchet kind of like a guilty pleasures
The twins are now influencers and "models "
They are both escorts on the low
One of them was arrested for stealing the credit card of one of her customers who ended up dead

she is a sports illustrated model had the potential to be tyra banks even Naomi level of success but her career never took off like that, even tho she had a great start

the only ones I can think of is the ones that had as their image or brand being dark skinned
like it was an essential part of how the public view them , those in general let their skin alone but that's about it

even the resident light skinned queens beyonce and rihanna, I could swear they were darker some years ago
people say at the time they had a huge tan or were literally using self-tanners but meh
I'm not buying it

I know when they were toddlers or super young they were super light
but with years they got tanner just like most black people
I don't think they naturally or magically returned to their childhood shade without doing anything

this thread literally makes me feel vindicated always had a feeling most of celebs are getting lighter but people told me it was in my head and I thought to myself maybe as someone who "bleaches" I'm projecting

but thinking about it we more than anyone know what's going on , not because we are projecting but because we are doing it ourselves we know the drill, we know the effort an struggle to get even one shade lighter 😭
it just doesn't happen magically or by chance , not to black skin at least
