Concealer - help

I need help.

I have dark circles around my eyes and I'm using concealer daily. I have two issues:
1. Most of them are too dry. Is there one that covers but is not dry?
2. On every photo area around eyes shows very light - it doesn?t look like that. Is there a trick?

Thanks

Sometimes with concealors being too dry....the trick is to put some on the back of your hand and warm it up and sometimes mix with a bit of eye cream or facial moisturizer....this will help to lessen the drying effect of the concealor. The back of the hand thing....helps to warm it up....which will help with blending too.
Regarding the concealer appearing lignt in photos.
It is recommended that you choose a concealer lighter than your normal complexion (& the foundation should be used to "even" out the complexion in those areas).

If you're doing this and it's not working then....either go no more than 1 shade lighter than your complexion, or you'll have to choose a concealer that matches your complexion. With the latter you'll have to practice applications to get the tones just right.
The concealors you are getting probably contain light reflecting pigments, ask the cosmetic people to help you with that. Get a cream concealor, make sure you are putting it on after your foundation. Dust LIGHTLY with powder.
You can also use the thickened foundation from around the neck of the foundation bottle as concealer. (A great money-saving tip) Make sure to use your ring finger (it's the weakest) and "stipple" that concealer on under your eyes, do not rub. The skin in the eye area is SO delicate and you need to be really careful.
I really like the one from Alison Raffaele. It has a very velvety and blendable consistency.

You can find info on it at:Skin Alison Raffaele - Home Page or Sephora.com and even some Sephora stores carry it.
i use a concealor from Lancome its not dry & its very soft in your skin
i want you try it... maybe you will like it

Patting layers of a lightenning concealer such as Yves saint laurant touch eclat creates the light effect around the eyes.I use a good eyecream 1st myself and a few dots of the full strength coverage Amazing cosmetics concealer patted around the eye does the trick.I usually dot and pat this on the inside corner just by your nose as well
You can also try gently blending concealer with your eye gel or cream and then patting it around the eyes as juadlu suggested.

I use Glominerals concealer. It blends really nicely and a little bit goes a long way. I also like that they offer two shades of the same tone (half & half) so that you can play with lights and darks a little bit.
Can I use cream/liquid concealers on top of minerals foundation or should I only use minerals concealer with minerals foundation?

Hi Pumi,I have used a variety of concealers with my bare escentuals mineral foundation and they have all been fine, the people who sell the products always reccommend their own but i think thats just a sales pitch.the amazing cosmetics concealer i use is a cream in a tube and i use it everyday with minerals without it caking or sliding off.when i used touche eclat i put that on before the minerals out of habit.I don't know if different minerals would vary as i have always been pleased with bare escentuals and havn't used any other brand.I expect it all depends how pure you want all the make up you use on your face to be,some people can be particular about only using mineral or organic make-up.

Thanks for replying, Juadlu. That was very helpful. By the way, I use Bare Minerals too
