As a natural curly head I had my routine down pat as soon as I was able to pick and choose products for myself. For many years I used Pantene the original version of the 80's and 90's. Once they revamped the packaging and reformulated the original formula it was all down hill from there. This new version leaves me with a terrible bout of itchy scalp and the conditioner really builds up on my hair.

After tons of mishaps and money losses I recently took a product that I?ve seen advertised in magazines seriously-that product is Ouidad.

My hair had a bit of a fit adjusting at first. It was frizzy and unmanageable and uncooperative. As time went on and I stuck to my guns to make this product work the results finally set in. On the site somewhere it does mention that your hair might react not like you?d like to at first but within time you will be glad you stuck with the product-I?m sure glad I did.

The Deep Treatment is my favorite product of the line. Every time after I use it my hair feels so soft and the curls are bouncy and well defined. My hair looks healthier after each treatment. I use the Quench Shampoo and Conditioner, which smell really nice and clean. The product is gentle even for color treated hair. I also alternate with the Tame Collection when I feel my hair needs more volume. I sometimes like big hair

As for the styling products I use Climate Control Gel as well as the Tress FX (which also comes in the Tame Collection) it?s a nice lightweight gel that I use on my laid back days when I just want to pull my hair back into a pony tail and not fuss.

My secret to shiny looking hair though is from Victoria?s Secret. I will use the Climate Control Gel to get that crunchy effect. When my hair is dry I pump about 3-4 drops of the Smoothing Shine Serum to break up the crunch and my hair looks and smells fantastic!

I hope you have enjoyed my take on how I care for my curly top. You can find these products at For Luxurious, Sexy Curls without the Frizz: Ouidad--The Curl Experts VictoriasSecret.com: The Official Site of Victoria's Secret or your local Victoria?s Secret store. Happy Shopping

Isn't it though? I have been trying to grow mine out too. After my son (who's almost 12) was born my hair has NEVER been the same. But these products have really helped me acheive healthy great looking hair.
