Hi, I have searched this forum and Googled this but can't find any info on this.
Is it possible to dissolve FA and /or allantoin in batches to use in diy serums?
Or would they degrade after dissolving.? Could I preserve /refrigerate/freeze to keep it?
I make aloe vera gel from aloe plants and then freeze it in ice trays to preserve it. I thought perhaps I could do this with batches of predissolved FA.
Thanks for any input!

FA is soluble in Propylene Glycol, Ethoxydiglycol (EDG), Dimethyl Isosorbide (DMI), ethanol. I personally use Everclear to dissolve mine. It works like a champ and dissolves no problem for me.

Allantoin is water soluble.

Why not dissolve what you need when you need it? I use 1/4 tsp of FA to 1/4 tsp Everclear and it dissolves immediately.....takes less than a minute to do.

Thanks, I was hoping to make a preserved base to make other serums. I have read about pre dissolving allantoin, but not FA.
