I brought the 90% LA from Lotioncrafters, added 2 ounces to a 10oz Vaseline Intensive Care bottle and then shook it vigorously. I opened the bottle just to take a look and see that it has clumped a little. Is this okay?

Tell me what % you are trying to make? No, it isn't supposed to clump up. For best results you really need to take the lotion out of the bottle, mix your LA with it, then put the lotion in a zip lock baggy, pop a whole in the corner and squeeze it back into the original bottle.
