Hi guys. Im looking to make a simple Urea cream to use for my arms that have been irritated because of eczema and itching. It's caused discolouration as a result and it it looks awful. I have bought some urea powder from making cosmetics and have some aveeno lotion handy. Just need to know how to go about mixing it in

Thank you all x

Typical usage level for Urea is 2 - 15%. https://www.makingcosmetics.com/Urea-USP_p_165.html

You can use the batch size calculator for your figures

2-15%? Can I possibly make a 40% cream or would it be too much for the skin?
I wouldn't be able to use 40% cream for my skin, yours may be able to handle it. How did your skin do when you use GA and LA lotion?

I use 40% on my toes to help with toenail fungus. I have a prescription from my doctor for 40% urea cream which is very expensive from the pharmacy! I'd love to make it myself if it were cheaper.
