Someone said that the biggest secret to improving your makeup is lining your eyes properly because it supposedly makes your eyes look more alluring? Do you agree? And do you line your eyes?

for me the prescription is:
No line,......... if I want to look natural
Dotted line ...if I want just a touch of color
Solid line .....when I'm in a hurry, or or want a more defined look.
Smuged line......is my favorite, it's softer and to me makes my eyes look more youthful

I wish I were able to line my eyes.

My vision is soooo bad that I can barely see what I'm doing w/out my glasses.

I try to line them but always end up teary eyed

I recently found a great brow brush that has helped me in applying eyeshadow as a liner around my eyes.

That's a great idea... I have done that plenty of times when I don't have the right color liner... What kind of liners have you tried? Pencils? Liquids? I use Mary Kay and they're awesome because it's almost like a mix - it's a wet pencil that goes on so easy.

Eyeliner is a MUST for me...other than a really good undereye concealer I think it's the most important thing in my routine. I like colorstay by revlon because it tends to last all day and the vixen color is the best (like a blackberry violet shade).

Draw a line all the way out to your outer corner starting at a quarter of the way in. At the outer corner of the eye, extend the line out and up to create a little wing. This will open up the eye. You may need to turn yourself at an angle for ease of application.
Thicken the line by drawing a few strokes back toward the lashes.

Dip your cotton swab in makeup remover to eliminate crooked spots.

I do a better job with my eyemakeup PERIOD, ....when I use my 10x or 15x Magnifying mirror. I'm sure this would help you too.

I use it almost all the time.

I love to do eye make up. It completes your look.
I play with different colors like black, charcoal, brown, khaki, navy blue etc. but not with any light colors as it doesn't look good with the color of my eyes (brown).
