I have done some research on this topic and I hear Shea Butter is the best ingredient to look for in Lotion. Try it, let me know what you think!

You can use just unrefined Shea Butter as a help for dry skin, it's inexpensive and you can even whip it with a mixer and add almond/avocado/jojoba oils or any oil that you want to. I use this in the winter for dry flakey skin. I gave some to a friend who uses it on her face and even rubs a little between her fingers and rubs it through her hair. The other option is that you could melt some and add it to your favorite cream or lotion.

Hi Mini!

I really like Arbonne NutriMinC? RE9. All my friends use it and they love it too. Its a little pricey but it will last you for at least 6 months. they use botanical oils rather than mineral oils. Botanicals cost $300/lb.

My new favorite is the Nutri-Moisture Balm Stick from the Skin Appetit line by Keri Glassman, the nutritionist from the Today Show. I love it!! ...Not too expensive, works great, smells amazing...plus, SO convienient for taking on the go and re-applying!
