You can use just unrefined Shea Butter as a help for dry skin, it's inexpensive and you can even whip it with a mixer and add almond/avocado/jojoba oils or any oil that you want to. I use this in the winter for dry flakey skin. I gave some to a friend who uses it on her face and even rubs a little between her fingers and rubs it through her hair. The other option is that you could melt some and add it to your favorite cream or lotion.
thanks everyone, I tried vasoline before but it didnt work. its may be because I have dry skin / psoriasis.
did anyone tried any of the available products in the market??
I really like Arbonne NutriMinC? RE9. All my friends use it and they love it too. Its a little pricey but it will last you for at least 6 months. they use botanical oils rather than mineral oils. Botanicals cost $300/lb.
All I can say is... ATOPALM! It works wonders, my friend originally told me about it and I tried it.. WOW! It works soo well. It is very soothing and repaired my extremely dry skin!
Hi Bethjogs im not a consultant just thought Id pass my advice along... Have you ever used it or have just heard bad things about it? Just wondering....
My new favorite is the Nutri-Moisture Balm Stick from the Skin Appetit line by Keri Glassman, the nutritionist from the Today Show. I love it!! ...Not too expensive, works great, smells amazing...plus, SO convienient for taking on the go and re-applying!
