Have any of you tried this? Professionally? Personally? What did you think of the results.

As an aesthetician, I use this instead of massage oils when doing treatments, especially when I've done extractions because it's antibacterial. So far I've had not problems.

It's from the Emu, a bird that looks more like an ostrich, and a very cost effective, effective and versatile product. I've was recently surprised at the number of professinals that new nothing about this, that's why I posted the Topic.

My sister was having many problems with her skin and she got a facial where they used emu oil and also recommended it for her brown spots and discolorations.

Her skin has changed for the better and she swears by emu oil.

The Emu's are farmed and when they are processed for their meats etc the oil is gathered. They arent harmed for the oil it is a process where everything is used during the process period.
Thanks for clearing that up. (I didn't want to go there) We have to be very careful about the content, validity, and truthfullness of our posts.

oooh I found a cute pic. It is in my avatar now!
He he....I was just gonna say....they look like your avatar - then I read your post.

I've heard great things on emu oil and it's effects on ones skin conditions. Myself, did not see any help from it - but I was impatient. Years ago, I was trying to rid from past acne scars...but was too impatient. Plus being an oily gal, I didn't like adding to my skin.
