Hi,
I have combination skin, with an oily t-zone. I've been getting random pimples on my forehead and cheek, so I decided to start going back to the spa to get facials again. My facialist recommended some products for me (Phytomer) to use on my face daily. After using for a few weeks, I noticed more pimples developing around my nose area and cheeks. I told her this, and she said it's normal, and it takes a while for my skin to get used to the cleanser, toner, face cream, etc.
So I want to know if I should continue using these products, or go to a skin specialist to find the root cause? I usually have pretty clear skin, but from time to time I will develop a pimple under my skin (takes forever to go away) or clusters of little ones. Is it hormones? stress? I also use MAC makeup daily, is that the cause?
