I am switching the brand of face creams....vichy.....to either Neostrata, Reversa or perhaps something else with similiar or better active ingredients. I want to do this switch asap and dont want to wait till i am completely out of vichy products....could take 2 months or so....i am wondering if i can use the face products i have on the rest of my body in order to use them up as i do not want to toss them away and do not know what the shelf life is of face products....would appreciate any and all feedback

I don't see why not. Creams are pretty universal in my opinion. Which Vichy cream are you using and why do you want to switch?

i pretty much have all the vichy products that would apply to my age group...47...and skin type...normal to combination.....cleansers...aqualia thermal....microdermabrasion kit but its been discontinued here in canada...fusio....you name it i have it. I want something with AHA and or BHA ingredients as i want to work on fine lines and other anti-aging skin issues. I am also ordering cellex c when it comes on the home shopping channel on june 9. i just need to use up these vichy products i have coz i do not want to waste them.

Yes, I think you will be fine using up what you have on your body. No problem at all.

I love AHA/BHA products.

Have you ever thought about making your own Vit C serum? A heck of a lot cheaper, and it's fresh!!

Just a thought-

Yes, I am my OWN skin care specialist-
no I am just a skin care junkie!

Are you in the US? Here is a link, we actually have a few on this site. But here is one that might help you understand more.

I would say ordering online would be easiest. There are a few others on here from Canada that DIY Vit C serum, they might be able to tell you what supplier they have had luck with. I am in the US so I have no problems getting anything-

For me, I use a few different sites I will list you can see if they ship to you.

I've done that when a face cream doesn't work well for me on my face. I figure why waste it, especially if it has SPF in it and I'm not going to be outside for a prolonged period of time.
