What does everything think or have experience with? I've been breaking out a lot lately (read my other posts) and I'm just wondering if it wouldn't be a bad idea... although, like many good things, I wonder, is it really a bad idea with a pretty face?

Why would a facial be a bad idea with a pretty face? I seem to have missed something in your post.

Facials when done properly will definately help the skin.

"being bad with a pretty face" was more hypothetical.
I'm wondering if it's possibly a bad thing but looks so good and is talked about as such a good thing. I don't know why they would be bad, could they possibly irritate skin more than already? probably not but I've never had one.

I should think facial is good for the skin if the appropriate facial is done to differing skin types.

You may be right though, facials have their place, but they should be done too often. I sometimes find that my aesthetician extracts a small pimple only for it to heal and me have this big dark spot for a month. Sometimes it's just not worth it. I find that if something ever comes up to the surface I can massage it out better with clean hands and it heals alot faster.

I think facials are great, but they're not the end all be all, and this coming from someone who is a big time fan of them and my aesthetician has 34 years of experience. SHe's the only one allowed to touch my face so she knows me well and I know her well.
