Fair & Flawless - fake??

Hi. I have recently purchased 3 products from Fair & Flawless, along with they gave me 2 samples. The samples came with no instructions or names so I called and spoke with Allison and she would not give me a chance to even talk. I had emailed twice with all my frustration about not getting a skin care specialist to call me back and she said I was rude. Then she said that they don't need my business. I was just so lost for words. This is making me feel like their company is a hoax. You call the company and u never get a hold of a specialist - seems like the only one u get is Allison. I have so much more to say but just want to know if any others have gone thru this madness with F&F?

I have not ever had to ring the company, partly because I am based in the UK, but I have emailed a lady called Linda and she has always been courteous and answered my queries and requests promptly.

I know that members from other boards have also mentioned the poor customer services.

Clearly this company is doing such good business, they are not bothered about upseting the customers who have to contact them with queries.
Allison told me that Linda does not work there anymore because I asked to speak to her originally after reading great testimonials about her. Allison said she moved to Germany to work in another dept. I did receive an email from Allison after her rude talk with me and she cc'd Linda. I tried emailing Linda then telling her of my experience and have not received any email back. I did find another complaint online about someone else going through a similar experience with Allison and her hanging up on her. If you want to see the site, I can email it to you. There is some profanity in it so I do not want to post it on this website.

After Allison suggest I speak to a skincare specialist, and after not hearing back from them at all in months, I told Allison that I'm still waiting. she replied that what is the problem and why do I so urgently need to speak to a specialist. I said I have waitied for months, and I'm doing what you suggested. It just all seems fishy to me. At the end of that phone conversation she shouted back at me that there is no specialist. so then why are they advertising there is one on their website??

Sorry for this long vent but I feel that customer service is key. Allison was very unprofessional and rude.

Hello;
I don't even know this brand really, but in just reading the posts I would say they don't deserve your business. This Allison woman is not at all professional nor does she have a business sense. There are plenty of great lines out there. I would be happy to try and help, if you should need it. I'm a business owner and entrepreneur myself, and I'm horrified at how she is treating her customers. Like I said, they don't deserve your business.

Good luck!
Esthetician Marcella.

notsnixen,

would you mind sending me the details of the site. It's a real shame that Linda has gone cos as I mentioned before she was always very helpful.
Ok, Maharani - I sent you a private email. Check in your mailbox.

BTW, are you Indian? I am - Punjabi.

No,

I know that my name causes confusion, but I am black. My boyfriend used to call me rani and I took it a step further

by the way what was the reason why you needed to speak to he Specialist and couldn't speak to the one at hand at the time (Linda & Allison). You said "After Allison suggest I speak to a skincare specialist" did you ask to be transferred to a Specialist right at that moment.? Why wait for months while you have that person to transfer your call. Im sure company's like this have FAQ or QandA on their website that you can read for reference instead of calling and ask questions that are already on the site, i think it could be a tad annoying..honestly..
Look if a cream does not show results within 2-4 weeks, then it will not work, get over with it, live and learn.

In all fairness to notsnixen, I have to say that I too have received samples from this company. There were no instructions and I didn't have a clue what they were for. It would have been nice to either receive the directions for use or at least be able to ring and confirm how to use it. At the end of the day the company should be approachable with any questions or advice they can give.
I have been a customer of fairandflawless skincare for the past two years and i am totally satisfied with their products and services thus far. I'm absolutely in love with the semi- custom facial lightening parfait and white tea lightening gelee. However, i do agree that there were times when i called and couldn't speak to anyone (early this year). I later realized that the company was going through a transition, and they had alot of clients to deal with and it might be difficult to answer hundreds of calls/respond to messages. This unfortunately can create alot of biases as to the legitimacy of the company, which in fact is real, cos i have been to the show room located here in NY. In fairness to the company, I think people need to educate themselves about skin and skincare products. Most of the information you need are available online/company's website, and I think it is absolutely ridiculous and unfair to just defame a company based on an unfavorable experience . I'm acknowledging everyone's perpective, however i do think sometimes people can be very rude and inconsiderate, which inturn could provoke any normal human being. I am not justifying any deeds cos i know people tend to exaggerate especially when they don't get their way. One thing people have to realize is that you have to approach people with respect to get respect. if it means alot to you to resolve a problem, you have to be diplomatic. From my experience, I think the reps are quite professional. These companies don't owe anyone anything. Matter of fact, they are doing you a favor with respect to your skin issues by making these fine products readily accessible to you. So far, there hasn't been any company specializing in effective non-hydroquinone skincare products. So, give credit to whom credit is due! Also, skin lightening business is a very competitive industry, so don't get too wrapped up in unnecessary vulgar opinions. Let the results speak for itself. If your skin means alot to you, do your research/homework and then invest accordingly!

Hi Lovelygirl. I'm not sure I agree with you. I think as a business you should stand by the policy that the customer is always right. Since the customers are the ones basically keeping the business alive, I think the company should be extra courteous and patient even if the customer is not. That's my take on it anyway.
Based from my experience with Fair and Flawless, I would say, don't buy their product! It is FAKE! It is a ripped off company.

What were your negative experiences with Fair & Flawless? I have never tried their products as they are really expensive.
The price alone freaked me out. I had called the company & spoken to Allison. I must say she was very polite & informative BUT she NEVER committed her comments to writing like ?I requested. I asked, for curiosity's sake if it was possible to go from a Fitz V to a Fitz I using F&F & she said YES; that she had done so herself. I gave her my email address & asked her to email me a list of the exact products I'd need, precise instructions I'd need to follow & the approx time frame for final results (you know; something like 8 months to 1 yr). I never received a reply. I emailed her a reminder (months ago) & again she never responded. This kind of thing makes me suspicious every time. Why the reluctance to commit & stand behind your product? I gave people more info re my ******* compounds! I even stressed that I cannot guarantee effectiveness as I am new at this & these are experimental blends at this point. It is always better to be frank & respect people's intelligence.

Pretty I am curious to know about your experience with this company

It turned my skin into yellow and after a month of using it, i developed pimples on my check. I discontinued using it, as it did not work for my skin. I have a very light brown complexion and I have noticed that my skin is getting darker. I ordered Meladerm and it seems it works for my skin. This is my second week of using it and I will wait for another 2 weeks, see what this product can do my skin. I e-mailed Fair and Flawless if they can helped me out with my break outs, until now I have not receive any response from them. This is the reason why I joined this forum. Is to gather ideas from different people who used different products to make their skin flawless.
Pretty, was it an unnatural yellow color from the f&f or was it like a lighten golden brown shade?

I remember contacting f&f a couple of months back to ask did they use sepiwhite at 5%, or if it was a less concentration such as 3 or 2%. They had written me back stating that they could not disclose that information with me as it was against their rules or something like that. I then written them back again telling them I just wanted to know since that's what they say, and they never written me back again and just ignored me. I don't know which employee it was that had written me, as it sadi it was from the f&f team.
This company is beginning to look 'fishy'.
I also had a very bad experience with f&f. After ordering the initial batch it worked fine by the time I got to the second batch nothing happened at all! So I contacted the rep( Allison) she was really rude and told me that I could not return the product if I was unhappy with it but, that they would send me a complimentary items I said okay, as it seems as if they were trying to work with me.

Do you know that crazy fool had the nerve to charge it to my account as they had my credit card information! I was outraged and couldn't believe it. I had to then get my bank involved and cancel the card write a letter to the bank to get a refund and after that she had the nerve to call me and try to curse me out! I don't care what anyone says that company and their products are bad news.
