Hi everybody.

I have freckles all over my face.

What creams can I use to remove them? What will work and what won't have side effects?

I live in South Africa which might help regarding products.

Please help.

Hi and welcome Jellybeans, There is a great cream that I've used to remove my most annoying freckles, it's called Barielle. It's cheap and great, you notice it working within a couple of days, It even took the worst freckle off of my face, the one at the tip of my nose. Good luck hope this helps you out.

Mony, are there any side effects to the product? Can you stop using it after your freckles go away? What kind of skin do you have? (so i can get an idea if it will work on my skin)

Did this dry or irritate your skin?

I've tried one in the Control Corrective line and it really bothered my skin- I had to quit using it. I can't remember what it was called- was in a small blue glass bottle.

I have sensitive skin, and yes after a while I stopped using it. My freckels haven't come back up, I think that might be because I wear spf 60 on my face. I think it was about Feb when I stopped using the cream, so far so good, no frekles, I had no side effects either.

Hi Jellybeans! Believe it or not, I too had freckles on my temples, across my cheeks & on my nose. I used 18% TCA peel kit on the advice of goatlady & now I have only a few stubborn ones left on my temples (hidden by my hair

). The Barielle is uch more gentle & if that works for you, then so much the better! If not, ZAP 'em with a TCA peel (you can dot it onto the freckles only).

Yep that will do it Ondine, but so many folks are skeered to try it! I am still flaking from my blast to my worst spot and it looks like it is GONE. Oh and a tiny pitted scar next to it is NOT as deep as it once was. But it did take several applications of the 18% 2 layers to finally get this worst one!

Goood Riddance! It gives me hope for my crazy temple freckles. I am too old to look like raggedy Anne's cousin! They were cute with my auburn hair in ponytails as a 6 yr old but not now.

Thanks so much for the info. Barielle I will probably have to order from overseas cos I don't think we have it in south africa. the TCA peels, can you usually just get them at a normal chemist? or did you guys have to go to a specialist to get them?

We buy from Chemical Peels, Chemical Peel, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Jessner, Lactic Acid Peels, Chemical Free Enzyme Peels, Pumpkin Peels 12.5% for most is not strong enough. 18% was the one that worked for me and Ondine best. You can do it in layers. Comes with great instructions

That is so true: the instructions are crystal clear & fool proof. Even when feeling as panicky as I was during my first go. Thought I was about to vapourize my face!
