It is meant to reduce lines and wrinkle around the face!! Iv never had one had so dont know if it works or not but think it is basically a machine massaging the face!! I also have a feeling you can buy machines now a days so you can give your self a galvanic facial!! Hope my little bit of knowledge on this is of some help! Let me know Pls if it works out for you!!

Just came across this thread. I have recently studied and qualified in facial galvanic and thought my input might be of interest.
There are two types of galvanic facials - one benefits a drier skin type and the other an oily, these are called iontophoresis and desincrustation, respectfully.
The benfits recieved from the desincrustation side of galvanic facials can be compared to that of microdermabrasion in terms of the brightening and decongestive effects although they are different treatments and microdermabrasion is more effective and will have results quicker that desincrustation.

refresh my memory, to penetrate product in skin does the client hold the positive pole or negative pole.. and does the same go for oily/acne skin??
