5102 Views 21 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  kweeny
I have light brown skin and I got 8 sessions of glutathione + vitamin C before, but it give zero noticable results. I dont remember even asking my doctor what the dosage was for the iv.

I am wanting to restart treatment at another place now; and im wondering:

1) What is the dosage of gluta/vitC IV that will actually bring results? I know its different for different people; so please tell me whats a small dosage / whats a medium dosage / and whats a strong dosage.

2) Also can somebody confirm if the vitamin C dosage should he double the glutathione dosage?

You are better off withy liposomal supplements. I use 2-3k daily of gluta and vit c and 4K MSM powder and I think that’s a medium dose.
Works great.
Please note that body weight is also an important factor in determining dosage.
IVs are supposed to have a 💯 rate of absorption but strangely most people have reported not getting any results.

Which brand of liposomal glutathione are you using and which brand of MSM powder? Is your Vitamin C also liposomal? How do you take the powder?

For medium brown complexion you need 3000- 6000 mg of glutathione liposomal or reduced gluta
And its better to have more vitamin C dosage if you can handle it.
Or at least the equal amount of vit. C to the glutathione you’re taking.
It should work if you spread it out in the mornings and before bed everyday until you reach the sweet spot

Hey hon,
I am taking the pure therapro rx S acetyl glutathione. I am very dark skin like maybe a shade or 2 lighter than Lupita. Do I still need to take 3,000 -6,000 of glutathione?

How many spoonfuls of Core Med correspond to 2-3k ofglutathione? I’m trying to calculate how much to buy.

I don’t use core med gluta , just vitamin c and it’s in capsules
I use 6 capsules daily (2000mg)
Jarrows acetyl tabs
MSM powder( 1 teaspoon ) or 6 capsules (veganvaro brand)( 4000mg)

S Acetyl dosage is taken as less dosage with a fast delivery to the bloodstream,
I dont think taking more will do the job
I personally follow the instructions with S- acetyl and then increase my dosage in a month with the same product,, but it may take longer to become caramel shade 6 months most likely if you're diligent with the regimen and use creams too

What was your starting shade ? You also mentioned you were taking 2,000 mg of glutathione, but stated you were only taking 6 pills of the S acetyl which would be 600 milligrams or are your pills more than the 100 mgs ?

I am not using any creams and haven’t planned on it because I wanted to see if the glutathione along with topical vitamin C would help . I am now taking Tri-fortify liposomal glutathione . I heard good reviews about this brand in general how ever , it is expensive . Taking 2,000 of this daily would cost me 300.00 a month and 3,600 a year . I need a slightly cheaper alternative .

6 capsules = 2000mg of vitamin c ( core med liposomal vitamin c) not acetyl gluta
I take 4 acetyl tabs of glutathione
Starting shade is around brown shade like Meagan good. I have lightened about 5 shades now in 12 years.
Note: I only started being diligent with supplements in the last 2 years.

This is helpful . I was taking 4 of the S acetyl glutathione (300 mg pills) each day and going through the bottles quickly . Only did this for two months . Now I’m taking for tify glutathione liposomal 2,000 mg but again I’m going through the bottle quickly and it’s 100.00 a bottle. Might switch back to the S acetyl pills because the gas from the liposomal (rotten eggs) is a bit much . I didn’t get that with the s acetyl .

That’s a lot in my opinion . I use 4 ( 100mg) acetyl peels which is equivalent to 4K reduced glutathione and I still go through the bottle fast too. However if yours is 300mg and you are taking four, I think it’s a lot.
As for the “rottenness” of glutathione a , I wish there was something we can do about it lol. This the work of the sulfur in it. I think acetyl gluta and liposomal vitamin c might be a better combo for you.

I really like the fortify glutathione because I feel the benefits (not skin lightening yet) I’m not sure if I feel anything with the S acetyl I was taking . I was taking the Pure Thera rx brand of the S acetyl. I’m going to try it again or I may try harrows brand . Thank you for the help dear .
You are welcome hun @Donaey
Honesty I have to say a few things about supplements.( gluta, vitamin c, MSM, etc)
They will NOT make you jump shades.in my experience you could possibly lightening up to two shades with consistent use over several months.

1.The most important benefits for me is the” skin clarity and freshness “ because your skin is being repaired from within.

2.You don’t get the bleachers look and you may also get more healthier hair and nail, eyelashes growth

3. You also do not have to worry about re-darkening fast, as like I said it works from within.

4 . It has other health benefits as they are all mostly antioxidants.
Lots of benefits but these are some of the crucial ones for me.
Do not be misled to spend a lot of money thinking you will be very light on just supplements.
I use mine with lightening soaps and scrubs and I am able to maintain my results. The most important thing is to set a reasonable goal and stick to it.

I really appreciate this information. It is good to know that these supplements have some very good benefits so at the end of the day , if I don’t lighten much I can still feel it was worth it . I am thinking I was to incorporate likas soap . I don’t want to use any creams .

Do you use any topical lightening creams or soaps at all? If so which ones? Or is your lightening based solely on supplements?
