Hi!

I started using Glyquin XM on October 15, 2008 and my melasma has already faded quite a bit!! I'm so excited!!

My derm gave me the prescription and I started to see results within 10 days and it's gotten even better since then. I hardly wear any make up anymore! I do ALWAYS wear sunblock with it thou...it's a must because it makes your skin photosensitive. I use La Roche Posay's Anthelois (60SPF+ Cream)...the doctor recommended that as well. And he instructed me to not put anything on BEFORE the sunblock because it affects its effectiveness. He told me to uyse the Glyquin XM twice a day but I only use it once a day ...at night actually...and all I use for the day is sunblock because I don't want to run the risk of the Glyquin making the spots darker when it's exposed to sunlight....and even thou' I only use it once instead of twice a day the results are still amazing! Up to this point, I've tried numerous things to lighten my melasma with no success at all....finally, my skin is almost perfectly clear again and I'm loving it!!

I don't know how well it will work for you, but it has done wonders for me! Good luck...and always wear sunscreen!

Sorry for slow response on my part. I work shift work and just finished up nights

What exactly do you mean by "dark spots?" Do you know what caused them? Or have they always been there?

Hmmm...I'm certainly no doctor....so, I'm not sure what to say. Glyquin XM recommended for things like melasma, age spots, sun damage, liver spots, freckles...so, I would think if you fell into either of those categories, it could work for you.

I found a site that gives you a lowdown on what it is and what it does...this is the EXACT one that I have and it has worked wonders for me.....the info here is pretty much the same as the info printed on the insert that comes in the box in which the Glyquin XM is packaged. Hope it helps!! Keep me posted on how things go....

okay....I'm getting a message saying I'm not allowed to provide links until I've made 15 posts....I haven't been here that long...so, I fall a bit short on that mark....
....but if you google it, you should get a link to essentail day spa.....it might help to read that.

yeah it actually works after about 3 weeks, it takes some getting used to but when you arent using the cream cover the area with sunscreen.
