Hi so iv just recevied my green cream level 3 today il do a skin patch test tonight just to be on safe side!
Anyhow please let me know any thoughts you have for me till i can use green cream full time that is and DIY my own products!

Before starting this, as far as im aware il start using green time until i can use it full time on my face that is!

As far as a good peptide serum or cream if i will purchase one if i can find suitable one, any suggestions always welcome!?

I know mari has also told me the cellex c high potency serum is very good too! I thought i could use these in evening when not using green cream?

I have thought may be i could use these other products on days not using green cream! However my vit c serum il use every morning i think this is correct?

I do have some fine lines and fragile not so much sensative skin, i just have to be careful what i use on my face!

Thankyou guys all the help, Any suggestions or guidance is always appreciated as usual!

IluvNY- how strong is the Vit C serum you are currently using? I think you will be able to use the green cream regularly before too long. If your skin does ok, with no negetive reactions to the Vit C serum, I think you will have no problems with the green cream. (that is why I ask what % is your Vit C) I tend to use a pretty high % of Vit C serum, but that is not for everyone.

I use a product called SpinTrap you can google that and see if it is something you want to try. Here are a few links that have pretty good info on it.

skincareresourcecenter.com/Spin-Trap
betterhealthyskin.com/spin-trap-regeneration-kit.aspx

I actually use my green cream at night, then apply the spin trap, then moisturize.

I use the Cellex C in the morning == as recommended, then a serum + or just moisturizer on top. at night I apply a moisturizer with glycolic acid. The two would be too strong together.

I'll have to look into this green cream.

Im making my own vit c serum so not sure about strength but followed mirecka recepie for this on hydrocloric serum thread i recently posted! Hopefully this should be ok!?

So mari am i correct to say that if i apply my sunscreen and then vit c serum then cellex c this is ok? Or is it better to use cellex c on alternate days till i get used to it with a moisturizer after reading some review on smartskincare.com i heard some people had bad reaction with there dry skin with this product?

Should i forget about peptides then i did look at one product today but have not purchased anything, do I need these?

Thanks for replys guys!

Gymrat if you feel like you need moisturizer just wait at least at least an hour before putting on one cause apparently this could make green cream not work properly from read iv read about ret products!

Thanks for link il look it up for future reference always interested in looking!

Yes, I normally wait 30 mins or so after applying green cream and also after applying Vit C serum before I apply my moisturizer.

Yes, I used just one bottle of the level 3. It does last awhile. After using the level 3 I moved up to 6, then 9. I am back down to level 6, and will stay here. I also use Retin-A micro if I need a little bit more of a boost.

Because shipping takes so long for you, maybe put some in a little container, that way if you run out you have some for backup until you can order more. Green cream is actually sold in a medical spa, in the town my son goes to college in, so for me it is rather easy to get. When he wants something mailed from home, I ask for green cream in return.

I have bought level 6 too so hopefully this should keep me going for bit!

What is retin a micro i have never heard of this before?

If you dont mind me asking how come did you back down to level 6 of the green cream?

Did you use a mattifyer with your green cream or not really need one?

thanks for helping me out with all my questions really appreciated

RETIN-A MICRO is an oil-free prescription medicine indicated for topical application in the treatment of acne. It uses a unique MicrospongeÂae system. This technologically advanced system is designed to minimize the irritation commonly experienced with the highest strength of tretinoin.

I went down to level 6 after level 9 basically because they were sold out of level 9 at the time. Sometimes, more like MOST of the time, I can over board on my product purchases,
and need to remind myself that I don't need them all.

What do you mean by mattifyer?

Well i dont have achne and my skin apart from being very dry and constantly needs hydrating even though i drinks loads of water is pretty good, we cant get non prescreption retin a here in Uk so think il leavet that alone! If i get one well with green cream can always order more in couple weeks if feel like id like to continue with level 3 for bit before starting on level 6 think il see how it goes!

They gave me at derma store a sample of mattifying get incase my face gets too shiny when i use green cream suppose, dont know if i need to have mattifyer on stand by so to speak for this reason?

Gymrat if it helps at all i know little while ago fawie gave a good website for diying your own products if you did fancy doing this at some point! It was cheap to buy vit c supplies so that i could make my own one you should really try it sometime!

Personally if i can il just use cellex c till it helps clear up my skin and i can use green cream full time that and vit c i hope will be enough to keep wrinkes away!! Fingers crossed anway!

Thankyou so much with all your help though!

I'd put the Cellex C on first because it is like water and it will absorb quickly into your skin then the sunscreen. Heavens don't use a Vit C serum along with Cellex C you'll burn your skin -- a lot of people have a tingling sensation after using Cellex C until their skin gets used to it. Don't over product your face or any part of your body.

I put on Cellex-c in the morning, followed by Hydra B 5 (sometimes) and I use a moisturizer with SPF 30 or if my moisturizer doesn't have sunscreen I use a mineral makeup which has SPF 30. Peptides are good - but remember you don't want to have so many different ingredients that it may make your skin break out. introduce one product at a time with your usual routine and when you're satisfied that your skin is adjusting add something new if you want.

Think of your skin like your digestive system -- if you ate all sorts of new things at once you'd probably end up feeling ill or have a real bad stomach ache. So mix up all sorts of new products on your face may cause a reaction -- your goal is to improve your skin -- just like going on a diet.

IluvNY- Actually I have a recipe sitting right here from mireckca. I need to just order the stuff to make it. I guess I am just afraid of making it wrong and burning my face. Not that I haven't ever done that before!
Just one of those things you keep saying you will make and then you never do. So, as soon as I order what I need, I will let you know, so you can wish me luck!!

Hi Mari without being complicated Iv just looked at some info on the Hight Potency and i know there are mixture of thoughts on this for example one site was saying how only active ingrendient is vitamin c and how it can be drying on already dry skin, obviously though il put on moisturizer after using this but am just wondering what your thoughts are on the active ingrendient list, before i cash out and buy this product!

Hope im not making things too complicated cause im just wondering as i do have my pure vit c serum at home and obviously this product is not cheap

Gyramat you could always pm mirecka and get her to give you hand with vit c im sure she will not mind i must admit even reading the thread she posted i know what you mean it can all get bit complicated, however do a patch test before putting anything on your face! Let us know if you need a hand but mirecka is prob your best bet as im just getting started meself, Good luck with it!

I don't mind you asking the questions -- Cellex-C is expensive and some people don't even like it. It worked for me but my cousin, for instance hated the product.

I didn't know anything about making your own Vit C serum and I probably would have given that a try -- simply because you have a fresh batch -- wit Cellex C you're getting a 3 month supply and if you're not careful by keeping it in a dark place and closing the bottle tightly it can go off.
I'd try your own serum first and it should give you good results as basically it will have the same ingredients. I can buy the Cellex C a lot cheaper than you can plus get all the other bonuses that's one reason why I use it.

Do let me know about the Green Cream and how you like it. Especially if you find it too strong. Take care.

Thanks Mari il do that, just so that i know too at the mo iv looked into buying the clinique antioxident cream again to use on nights when not using the green cream but however earth essentials products did seem to have good ingrendients to them that seem cheaper to me to buy just wondering before i buy a new night cream if you have had any thoughts on the earth essentials creams i mentioned before?

Mari just wondering but did you ever manage to get rid of your frown lines just that my boyfriend seems to be getting lines here too and i always thought line fillers are not permanet thing so am not buying him this yet?
