I fell off the wagon a while back and I'm ready to get back on my grow. I'm setting short term goals first, and just raising the bar as I go.
Share your journey too, and let's grow together.

Here's the regimen I will be following for my first stop at solid APL.

Thursdays are my "hair days". I can sit under my heating cap for a deep conditioner without anybody bugging me.
Sundays are my co-wash days (Conditioner wash only. No shampoo.) followed by a plastic cap all night.

Washday
Shampoo, condition, then DCon baggy under heating cap for 1 hour.
Warm rinse. Squeeze excess.
Apply leave-in and detangler.
Air dry mid-way and blow out on medium heat.
Progress photos, and do protective style
Follow daily regimen.

Co-washing:
Cowash once a week, air dry and PS and baggy overnight.

Daily Regimen:
Apply MM4 Mix with a perm brush. Massage into scalp and let it clear.
Apply MTG on scalp. Blot the excess with a paper towel.
Apply Glovers Medicated Treatment (5% sulfur) to scalp.
Spray moisturizer (see list) lightly over entire head.
Apply melted Shea butter to ends as needed to combat dryness and breakage.

My Growth Aid Mix:
Use one 4% MN tube
1 oz. Megatek Coat Rebuilder (half jar) + Peppermint, Tea Tree, Emu Oil

Washday Products:
Poo: Fantasia Tea Tree Naturals
Con: Fantasia Tea Tree Naturals or ORS Replenishing Conditioner
DCon: JBCO + Silicon Mix, or Olive Oil + ORS pack
Detangler: Cowboy Magic
Leave-In: Silicon Mix Bambu or Pearl
Moisturizer: Avocado Mist, or G

On the Inside:
Vitamins: 10g Biotin, 3g MSM + Nature Made Maximin Pack (A+D, B, C, E, Calcium & Multi)
Other: Diatomaceous Earth once a day - see earthworkshealth.com

I want to grow mine as well as get thicker hair. Ordered my stuff should be here by Monday ( that's what being off Sct does makes me shop) so definitely looking for tips as I'm absolutely useless when it comes to hair care but my daughter and I will be doing this together

That's to show that I really went bonkers when SCT was offline! I'm in the process of creating a picture collage as I type this. I'm well awake now and raring to go!

OMG! Rule #1 of growing...NO CUTTING!!
Although I can't lie. I get scissor happy when I'm bored. That's why I'm only SL now. Called myself "clipping my ends" and well, 'know...

Girl, that's the move right there. INVERSIONS actually work!
I've never gotten even distribution but I def had crazy improvement. I need to add this only I'm not sure how with my back all jacked up. Have to think about how to do this.

Fluffy's Hair Regimen

These are pretty much what I have in my bathroom cabinet for hair... that I currently use... My staple products.
Everything on the left column is in my cabinet. I choose one of the three and stick to everything in it (shampoo, conditioner, heat protectant), depending on my mood and whether I feel my hair needs a keratin or moisture/strength treatment. Tresemme is my go to, everyday hair product. I haven't cheated on it... yet. I mean, I had this affair with pantene this one time, but I was kinda underwhelmed by it's performance and ran straight back home.
Kanechom/silicon mix, deep conditioning treatment. I usually run out cos my hair drinks conditioner... Irish style! So I fall back on tresemme.
Argan oil treatment is my staple serum/sealant
My whipped shea butter mix has now made it's way into my hair regimen as a moisturiser/sealant
Starting a 7day inversion/month with CaspersKitty.
That's it! ...I think!

Current length: In between waist and hip length
Current journey: Transitioning (21 months post)
Goal: Maintaining my hair at that length and cutting away relaxed ends.
Protective styles: Bunning
Hair preference: Straight! So I flat iron once a month.
Hair type: 3c... mainly
Washing regimen: Whenever my hair moans at me! (1-2x week)
Vitamins: Biotin & MSM (both 1000mg)

See... I told you I was boring!

Alternatively... Can you sit, lean forward/downwards and let your head hang?

STAHP! You know darn well you have a good regimen. All 'em hair products you were flashin' upstairs. LOL
That was the only thing I had to flash... well, that and the other stuff I have flashed on here. I used to be a hair product junkie... but with 8 years of never having foreign hands in my hair, I think I've streamlined what works for me and bandwagoning is not a problem in this department. lol

You better confess or I'm going to lift up your skirt and let all those products fall out! (evil grin)

Lay flat on your bed (back side down) with your head hanging over the edge........works like a charm, put a pillow or 2 under your knees, even better for your back. Kill 2 birds with one stone *thumbs up* emjoi :)
