Hi everyone,

Can you pls recommend a good hand cream or lotion that leaves ur hands soft and supple? I am currently using a store brand one which is isn't too great at hydrating my hands especially in winter and my hands are really dry. Has anybody tried hand creams with spf?

Pumi, have you tried using Nivea moisturising hand cream?- it's in the white tube.
It's really good and leaves your hand soft without being too greasy. It has a nice smell also.

I usually end up using my face cream on my hands -- it's because when I get down to the bottom of a jar I usually buy a new one. Also, if I have a face cream I don't like instead of throwing it out I'll use it as a hand cream.

Thanks girls. Sometimes I skip using hand creams too coz when I apply my moisturiser or body lotion, I feel my hands have already been moisturised . So, as long as the hands are hydrated not necessarily by a hand cream/lotion, I guess it should be okay?

Bath and Body Works has a hand cream called, "Look Ma, New Hands!" that I love. It smell like orange and has paraffin to protect hands. Works great!

Mari i agree with you, also you need to use something anti aging on your hands chest neck and face as these are first things to age

Use that DIY vit C serum on your hands and decollete! It's practically as cheap as water and you can use it anywhere! Use it up before it oxidizes!!!

That's what I've been doing, except my right hand always gets more. Maybe we should go back to wearing gloves!

Hehehe...I guess u're rite, Mari. We should start wearing gloves but its a big problem when it's summer time!!

No -- I usually just use my usual moisturizer. The neck is a very delicate area -- and correspond to the upper lip and neck, therefore if you have an eye cream that you don't like -- don't throw it out -- use it on your upper lip or neck.

On my days off I am constantly cleaning or cooking and washing my hands over and over. I always keep hand creams all over the house. I love Mario Badescu Elasto Seamollient hand cream. It took me almost a year to use up the 8oz jar and if i rememebr, it was cheap cheap cheap!!! Also there Hydrating Hand Cream is nice too. Not greasy but it leaves the hands silky. One of my favorites is Lancome's Absolue hand cream which I only get to put on when I go to the mall since I am not paying $30 for hand cream!!! Ahhhhh Laura Mercier's Almond -Coconut Milk and Creme Brulee hand creams are DA BOMB!!! Yummy.

Thanks for your reply, Skincarediva. I have the same problem too. My hands get extremely dry during winter and on days I am home, I do a lot of household chores that involves water causing my hands to get drier still. I am currently using body shop body butter as hand cream as my own hand cream is not moisturising enough!
