Just curious to hear what peoples opinions are about handmade soap. Products from The Soap Store (US) or Lush and a host of companies out there create beautifully crafted soap and moisturisers etc, and I would like to hear from anyone who has tried any of their products and what they think.

Do you think they work? Are they value for money? Are the ingredients getting a bit over the top?

I think they're ok. I like soap over body wash anyhow. I don't really care how "beautifully crafted" they are though, they loose their shape after the first or second time they get wet anyways.

Depends on the cost though. I'm not about to pay $10 for a bar of soap. Although on that note, I did try a Tea Tree Oil Paul Mitchell Bar that was AWESOME, but cost $15 bucks and lasted all of one week.
