Has anyone used Correctives?

Hi All

I have been diagnosed with melasma and the skin therapist 'prescribed' me some skin care to use. The brand is called correctives and the two products are called Cosmedix lightening serum and cosmedix Refine, refinishing treatment.
Apparently you can only get them through prescription, not over the counter and i was just wondering if anyone had heard of them or used them with any success before i open them as they were awful expensive.

I've never heard of them. Often melasma is caused by a hormone imbalance. Unless the imbalance is fixed, the cream will not work as the problem will continue. See an endocrinologist for a full check up & tests. If she can re-balance your hormones, the melasma will lift & the cream will help make it happen faster.

I used the refine along with the toner, they were great, but I honestly could not tell you if I see a difference in my face. I was also shocked at the price of the refine, but purchased and used and will not buy again.
