common guys.. I know this forum is the bomb . com! with lots of helpful people and DIY gurus... please kindly help a girl out :p:)
I have never used it or even seen it as an ingredient with any companies I purchase from. In order to know how to work with it you need to know the usage rate and whether its water or oil soluble. I would recommend you contact the supplier you purchased from they would have all the info you would need in order to create something.

Tranexamic acid works best in oil-free emulsions. It gives good results on Asian skin. For black skins, when the epidermis is open (after exfoliation or during exfoliation). I once tried to make my own cream, but I was not disciplined. It must at least be combined with a mild acid and Gigawhite. You must already have cleared your skin if you really want to appreciate its results.

Hi Titi,

Thank you so much for the helpful reply. I am Arab (naturally medium/beige-brown), and my goal is to make my skin very bright, I have looked into may ingredients and Tranexamic acid and interesting gigi white along with sipiwhite stood out to me. And I can't seem find any pre-made potent products with these ingredients anywhere, hence why I would like to make my own lotion/serum for my entire body, especially my back.

Pretty please could you possibly help me with a recipe for a 4% Tranexamic acid / gigiwhite body lotion?
If it works I'd be happy to report back with pictures and results to perhaps encourage others with their journey.

Thank you!!!!

Hi Gymrat,

Thank you kindly for the reply. Unfortunately they are not providing any recipe and are being very vague thats why I am reaching out for help here :)

All i got told is that its water soluble and works at 4% concentration and could go up to 7 max and that it can be combined with skinwhite, gigi white and sipiwhite.

I would NEVER purchase from any company that didn't provide a fact sheet for their ingredients. This isn't something that should be a hidden secret or anything that should be "told" to you, it should be available on their site and or on the label of the ingredient. There is SO much more then just selling an ingredient to a consumer.......I wouldn't even trust the ingredient without more information, no way, no how. Any legit company knows this.

For example, take a look at ingredients on Lotioncrafters, Makingcosmetics, Bulkactives, they provide descriptions, fact sheets, all the information YOU as the purchaser would want and need to know.

I totally agree I wont be doing business with them again, matter of fact I haven't touched the product so it will go straight into bin and I shall try a different seller.

This is what I found from another website, however the language used is not making any sense to me, suppose if I wanted to make 100ml lotion with 4% concentration, how would I go about the measurements?

If you wanted to make 100ml of lotion using 4%, it would require 96% lotion and 4% TA.
What are you using to measure the powder? Do you have a scale? If so it would look like this.....
3.83 grams of TA
92.03 grams of base lotion

Hello. Tranexamic acid gives a good result when it is combined with niacinamide and n-acetylglucosamine.

Are you adding distilled water for your ingredients to dissolve? If your base lotion is water soluble and your ingredients are water soluble you don't need to dissolve them first, if you chose too it would take very little distilled water.

Whats the reason for the oil? If you are adding an oil, you will need an emulsifier in order to bind the water/oil ingredients.

Don't make things more complicated then they need to be, otherwise it will require more ingredients. Keep things as simple and easy as possible, especially if you are new to this. Otherwise you are investing in ingredients you will never use again.

Yes I plan to use a water base lotion, I was under the impression that jojoba oil is water soluble therefore it should be fine to mix these together?

I have cosmetic/food grade distilled water as I make my own hyaluronic acid and b3 serum.
============================================================================
What If i use 80ml (80%) of distilled water
10grams of b3 (10%)
4 garms of tranexmaic powder (4%)
4 grams of hyaluronic acid
1ml germall ii persative

how does this sound?

Recommend usage for B3 is 6%. And no .........jojoba oil is an "oil" therefore it has to be used with oil soluble products unless you use and emulsifier with it.

really? they're powders are of superior quality. I have used a lot of them.
I'd suggest mixing it with glycerin, this is what I've done in the past and seen it works well.
