Hello every body I need help with my skin color. I'm a light skin black guy and want my skin color back. I'm so light skin I'm almost the same color as a white person I dont know why...LOL! I think because my dad is a high yellow black guy and my mom is dominican/antiguan that im so light. But its only my legs that are light skin and the parts that are in the sun all the time is dark
. I get sun burned real easily when I'm in the sun so I were sunblock all the time. What can I do to get my skin color back!!!!

Hi jganer and welcome!

You should definitely be able to get to the lovely colour in those photos, judging by the colour of your leg. Firstly, have a good look at this thread which is a routine a lot of us on here are following. This would be ideal for you I think. If you have any questions, please ask. There are a lot of people with great advice on here to help you

if you use REtin-A 0.05% cream and a european sunblock with state of the art protection and HQ 4% alternatively then you should be able to get back to the color that you had. You identified your key problem which is sun exposure so find the thread in this skin lightening department called European Sunblock, there are excellent ones listed there. It will take 1 to 3 months to see some results, 6 monhts to see a SIGNIFICANT result and upto one year to get full years. Remember, this is reversing the dark skin so there is a lot of restructuring and exfoliating that is needed which the Retin-A will take care of so naturally, it wont be a quick overnight process but if you STICK with the routine of REtin-A 0.05% cream at night then European sunblock adn maybe HQ during the day then your problems will be solved.

Hi jganer, You've received great advice.

I'm trying to harmonize my coloring too. I've only been at it since the start of August but I do see encouraging changes already..hopefully by Feb-Mar I'll be close to my goal.

if i were you i would just start off with hq at 2% and a good exfoliate and good spf during the day. that should help you...if not, then later ra and/or hq at higher percentage but you aren't that dark to need anything drastic.
