One of my neighbors is serving in Iraq currently and his mother usually sends him care packages every few weeks. When she does she will ask us if we want to send him anything special and since I heard this story I started sending him Vitamin-E sticks.
Just recently I read about Reviva Labs, a skin care company in New Jersey, and how they started shipping their Vitamin-E sticks to soldiers in Iraq. The sticks are like lip balm, but it protects their lips and underneath their eyes from the sun and sand. The company does this for free to support the troops. I think it?s a great idea and if anyone knows anyone in Iraq that they mail care packages to a good idea may be to include products for their skin. We?re not used to living in the desert, so something simple to ease the effects of the harsh sun on their skin could cheer them up and make them feel good.
