The skin type you have plays an important role. The Oily skin pores look bigger while dry skin pores are tighter looking. The pore is not large but may look large because of dead cell and sebum accumulation inside it. Force removal of whiteheads and blackheads may increase the size of the pores.

The secret from deep skin pores? Keep your skin free of excess oils. That does not mean that you strip away the acid mantle totally. Just keep the oil manageable so that it does not look shiny. Use cleansers that are mild and preferably enriched with AHAs to keep the acid mantle undisturbed.

Use exfoliation agents such as topical retinoids to remove the excess dead skin cells that accumulate around the pore. Treat blackheads, because they draw attention to the pores. Skin protection from sun such as sunscreen SPF 30 can reduce the enlargement of your pores.

You may try this natural remedy to reduce it. Mix table salt and buttermilk into a paste. Work well into the area where pores tend to be enlarged. Remove with warm water and repeat several times a week until the condition clears up.
